Inov-8 Roclite 285 - A trail racing shoe ideal for mountain and adventure racing.

The Roclite 285 is designed to similar principles as the F-Lite 230 with a light, proprioceptive and natural running feel. This shoe has been enhanced with a lugged Roclite sole unit for increased grip in more challenging, Mixed trail running conditions. For maximum stability this shoe has a low profile foot position. The Roclite 285 is an elite racing shoe for varied and testing trails.

Technology

All Inov-8's footwear incorporates a meta-flex groove which is anatomically aligned in front of the metatarsal heads to provide a natural fore foot flex. 

 New 5-finger meta-shank aligns with each individual metatarsal for greater flexibility when contouring while retaining underfoot impact protection. 

 The upper webbing support is anatomically positioned to cradle the fore foot behind the metatarsal heads and provide a secure foot hold.  

 A replication of the plantar fascia ligament increases propulsion efficiency & reduce fatigue.

 Sticky rubber compound sole aids grip in wet conditions however it wears quicker

 Performance last. Precise fitting last ensures minimal internal movement when contouring, ascending and descending.

 

Webbing upper support. Lacing attached to nylon webbing, cradles and secures the upper behind the metatarsal heads.

 Built on a last based on an average runners foot giving a good fit for both men and women.
