Mike was born on 7th November 1983 and completed his first race in 1989, the Radcliffe Carnival 5 Mile. Mike has gone on to represent Lancashire and the North of England and more notably has represented England in the Marathon.
Michael's passion is the Marathon, completing his first at the tender age of 18 in a time of 2.49. His latest marathon and current personal best was achieved at Amsterdam in 2006, where he finished 24th in 2.23. His favourite race is the Trimpell 20, "Its fast, flat and scenic", his quickest time for the course is 1.46.
Mikes current favourite shoe is what he spends most of his time in, the Adidas Supernova Glide.
