PB LOGO

Rob was born on 28th February 1975 and has been running since he was 9 years old when he joined Bingley Harriers where his dad was a member.  Rob never excelled as a junior, but enjoyed running and over the years kept improving. Eventually he represented Yorkshire, then England and Great Britain.

His greatest achievement was winning the British Fell Championships in 2003 & 2006 and the World Skyrunning Series in 2005.  He has gone on to win just about every race worth winning in the fell running calendar.

Despite Rob only been in his early 30's, he is already a legend in the fell running world.  His strength is his ascent, to watch him climb and leave his fellow competitors in his wake is a site to behold.

His favourite races are Ben Nevis, Three Peaks, Jura and all the Lakeland classics.  Robs current favourite shoe is the Walsh PB Racer.

Rob became a Dad in March 2009 when daughter Millie was born.
