Tom was born on 2nd December 1989 and started running at the tender age of 8 and joined his first club, Helm Hill at the age of 10. A reasonably slow starter, Tom became more competitive at the age of 14 as his hard work and training began to pay off.

Tom's greatest achievement was winning the under 18 English Junior Championships in 2007.

Tom has shown great potential, particularly towards the latter end of his junior campaign. Now running regularly in senior races, Tom has the potential to compete at the highest level.

His favourite races are Dunnerdale, Fairfield, Kentmere and Grasmere Sports. Tom's current favourite shoe is the Walsh PB Racer.
