Terms and Conditions

PURCHASING

Pete Bland Sports accepts the following credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Maestro, Visa Electron and Solo. Credit card information can be sent by secure server. Your credit card company will automate currency conversion.

An automatic confirmation is sent via email shortly after you have placed an order.

We do not charge for any items until they are in dispatch.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our 128bit secure shopping system. This has the added security of our very own PGP encryption software. All orders are encrypted and are only decrypted after they reach our secure server.

DELIVERY

All items ordered are sent via Royal Mail Parcel Post. All orders will be dispatched within 24 hours. Please allow 5 working days for delivery when selecting Standard Delivery. Please note that Saturday & Sunday are not classed as working days.

If you select Next Day Delivery this order is guaranteed by 1.00pm the following day, this includes Saturdays, but excludes Sundays. Please order before 3.00pm for Next Day Delivery. Next Day Deliveries cannot be dispatched on Saturday for Monday delivery. Any Next Day orders taken on Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on Monday.

Overseas orders are charged accordingly (see delivery charges). Please allow 7 working days for overseas orders. Please note that Saturday & Sunday are not classed as working days.

  • GOODS VALUED £80 & ABOVE = FREE (ROYAL MAIL FIRST CLASS RECORDED SIGNED FOR)
  • NEXT DAY DELIVERY = £7.00 (ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY NEXT DAY SIGNED FOR)

Please note that Pete Bland Sports will send a confirmation email when your order has been dispatched.

OUT OF STOCK OR BACK ORDERS

If a product is out of stock or we can only deliver part of your order we will contact you straight away, either by email or by phone. On contact with you we will explain the situation and offer several alternatives one of which will include cancelling your order. Pete Bland Sports will follow any stipulation directed by you, the customer.

Should you decide to leave any product on back order, you can contact us at any time for any updates on the said order.

Postage will only be charged on the initial payment for any part orders we dispatch. We will charge no further postage on any items we dispatch thereafter.

RETURNS

Pete Bland Sports offers a 'no quibbles' returns policy. All items can be returned for an exchange or a full refund.

When returning goods, please include a clear and concise letter stating the problem with said item, the action you would like us to take and your address, daytime telephone and email details should we need to contact you. Please note return postage is at the cost of the customer.

Any refunds will be credited to your account immediately after we receive your returned goods. A receipt will be sent to you to confirm the refund amount.

FAULTY GOODS

Any faulty goods must be returned with a clear and concise letter stating the problem with said item, the action you would like us to take and your address, daytime telephone and email details should we need to contact you. Pete Bland Sports will re-imburse the cost of postage for the return of faulty goods, but please do not send the goods back on a Next Day delivery, a Recorded postage will be sufficient as the parcel will still be given a unique number for tracking delivery. Returned faulty goods from the UK will therefore either be refunded only a regular or Recorded delivery cost.
