Socks
In our Mountain Marathon section we have sought to present a range of gear which will enable the committed runner to travel fast and light. Our selection is the result of years of experience - Pete and Anne Bland were the first mixed pair ever to finish a Karrimor Elite Class at Peebles in 1978 and Jon Broxap is a past four times winner of the KIMM Elite Mixed Class.
We think we stock socks to suit everyone and on first impressions the choice can appear bewildering. In this section we have selected those that we consider the best for mountain marathon runners.
Useful Tip – Take 2 pairs of socks, one pair for each day and two polythene bags. Put the polythene bags over the dry second day pair that you put on at the overnight camp.
