VJ Unisex Lightspeed 2

The VJ Lightspeed 2 is an ultralight racing shoe developed together with elite trail runners with the goal to create the fastest trail running shoe in the world. Here it is.

The shoe features our new SuperFOAMance midsole, which is made of hi-tech and ultralight nitrogen infused material that offers extreme cushioning and energy return. This new foam is a modern, supercritical foam that is lighter, more responsive, more comfortable and more propulsive than a traditional EVA foam. Compared to other foams, SuperFOAMance is more durable and does not rip as easily.

The midsole is finished with a branched composite plate which pushes the runner forward as a spring would do. The reason the plate is branched is to offer sideways flexibility for optimizing balance in uneven and everchanging terrain.

The Lightspeed features VJ’s famous Superior Contact -outsole made of our own butyl
rubber compound, offering the best grip on the planet in any terrain.

The Lightspeed 2 upper is light, breathable and durable one-piece upper that fits on the
foot like a sock, while still offering enough of support for the runner.

VJ’s innovative Fitlock-system offers an optimal fit for the shoe by locking the foot from
the arch. It also offers extra protection by protecting the arch from the impacts the foot
is facing while running.

The shoe is designed to be used without insoles, but insoles will be shipped with the shoes!
