LUG PATTERN
Designed for varied trail terrain, the Trail Shoe features a lug layout tuned for consistent grip across changing surfaces. The pattern supports traction when climbing, cornering and descending, while maintaining smooth transitions on firmer ground. Each lug is positioned to ensure continuous ground contact, keeping engagement consistent as the terrain shifts beneath you.
VIBRAM TRACTION LUG
Vibram’s Traction Lug technology enhances the contact surface of each lug, increasing grip without increasing weight. The additional surface area engages the ground more effectively, improving stability under load and supporting forward drive across loose, mixed and compact trail conditions.
VIBRAM LITEBASE
Vibram Litebase forms the foundation of the outsole. By reducing sole thickness by 50%, Litebase cuts overall sole weight by up to 30% while maintaining Vibram’s recognised standards of durability, grip and traction. The result is meaningful weight reduction without sacrificing performance.

VIBRAM MEGAGRIP
Vibram MegaGrip is a high-performance rubber compound engineered for reliable traction across both wet and dry terrain. It balances durability with friction, providing secure footing on rock, hard-packed trail and variable surfaces while maintaining flexibility for natural ground adaptation.
WAVE TECHNOLOGY
The Trail Shoe integrates outsole and midsole through OMM’s Wave geometry. This sculpted sole profile increases surface area contact with the ground while managing midsole compression. The result is improved energy distribution through the gait cycle, reduced internal movement and a more stable, responsive feel underfoot.
X-LOCK
The X-Lock fit system widens tension across the upper, reducing localised pressure points while maintaining secure foot hold. The system stabilises the tongue and midfoot without the need for excessive lace tension, helping maintain comfort and control across longer or faster efforts.
ROCK PLATE
A forefoot EVA rock plate is embedded between the midsole and outsole to disperse impact forces from roots, stones and uneven trail. It protects underfoot without dulling responsiveness, helping with forward propulsion and confident movement across mixed terrain.
PROTECTIVE UPPER
The ripstop nylon upper is reinforced with TPU overlays in high-wear zones to improve durability without restricting flexibility. Reinforcement around the toe box, eyelets and heel provides protection against trail debris while maintaining breathability and quick-drying performance.
INTERNAL SKELETON
An internal structural framework provides support and shape through the base of the shoe, extending into key contact areas such as the toe box, eyelets and heel. This internal architecture enhances stability and durability while maintaining a precise, performance oriented fit.
